Do you love photography?
Do you love photography? You could help reduce loneliness among seniors! Take up FADOQ – Région Lanaudière’s challenge and meet up with someone in your life who spends too much time alone. Talk to them and take their picture with an object that they hold dear.
The Un moment d’ouverture photography exhibition aims to enhance the image of seniors and foster creativity and artistic expression. The exhibition will take place as part of Journées de la culture and Salon des jeunes 50 ans et plus on September 27 and 28, 2019, at Galeries Joliette. The exhibition may be displayed at other locations in the future.
How to submit your photos
The submission deadline is August 15, 2019.
Enter the photo contest by July 1, 2019, for a chance to WIN two free meals at Buffet des Continents this summer! *Some conditions apply.
Prizes
Photographers whose pieces are selected will be invited to a press conference and opening organized by FADOQ – Région Lanaudière. The jury award includes a $75 gift certificate for contest partner Photo J and the audience award includes a $50 gift certificate to Photo J.
