CELEBRATING 50 YEARS!
Long planned, FADOQ’s 50th anniversary festivities were launched in January 2020. And there was something for everyone!
Laurentians
FADOQ – Région des Laurentides was created on June 16, 1972, under the name “Le conseil de l’âge d’or, Région des Laurentides.” This year will mark its 45th anniversary.
Originally run by a four-member board, the regional network moved its headquarters to Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts in Mont-Tremblant in 2000 and expanded to a nine-member board.
Since that time, two members represent each of the sectors (Mille-Isles, Rivière-Nord, Trois-Vallées, and La Rouge – La Lièvre) and the chair represents all members in the region.
