This brief was prepared for the pre-budget consultations and presented to the office of Quebec’s finance minister, Éric Girard.
In this brief, Réseau FADOQ outlined the priority measures determined by its members. It also aimed to raise awareness about factors the Government of Quebec should take into account in preparing the budget.
Réseau FADOQ asked the Legault government to take urgent action in dealing with serious problems with healthcare ratios and called for the implementation of new health professional/patient ratios across Quebec.
The organization also took the opportunity to remind the Quebec Government of the urgent need to establish an insurance fund for pension plans to better protect workers’ interests.
