Réseau FADOQ is pleased to announce the appointment of Jacinthe Roy to the position of Executive Director.
Ms. Roy succeeds Danis Prud’homme, who is retiring. Prior to this, she had held the position of assistant executive director of Réseau FADOQ since November 2021.
“I’m honoured to become Executive Director of the largest organization of people aged 50 and over in Québec and Canada. My vision for FADOQ is based on one main pillar: adding value to the FADOQ membership card so that our members are even better served and are proud ambassadors of our organization,” said Ms. Roy.
“Jacinthe Roy ticked all the boxes of what we were looking for in this position. The Board of Directors is confident that she will rise to this new challenge with brio,” said Réseau FADOQ President Gisèle Tassé-Goodman.
Ms. Roy, who holds an MBA, has an impressive track record. With Réseau FADOQ, she led the campaign entitled Entrez dans la danse avec vos clubs FADOQ to re-launch club activities after the pandemic. She also re-launched the FADOQ Philanthropic Fund and led several important committees within the organization.
“There are major challenges ahead, particularly with the accelerated aging of Québec’s population. We will continue to be in touch with our evolving society, offering a wide range of programs and recreation activities. What’s more, defending the collective rights of our members and all Quebecers aged 50 and over will always hold an important place in our organization,” assures Ms. Roy.
Ms. Roy also has extensive experience in philanthropic management and non-profit financing, notably with Les Petits Frères.
