SeniorBusters is a group of volunteers who work for the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre and provide information and telephone support to seniors who believe they have been victims of telephone fraud. Contact the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre and ask for them.
If you witness or are a victim of physical violence, threats, fraud, theft, or any other type of crime, you can obtain free and confidential professional services from a CAVAC. CAVAC workers will listen to you, inform you of your rights and options as a victim, provide technical assistance (e.g., filling out forms as required), guide you through the process, and refer you to other resources in the community. You do not have to have filed a police report to use their services.
