The Senior-Aware program aims to raise awareness among seniors and the general public about elder mistreatment, fraud, and bullying.
It consists of informative, engaging sessions tailored to the needs of the target audience. These talks are offered at no charge in senior communities. What makes Senior-Aware information sessions so different is their unique format, which draws on the knowledge of a professional and the experience of a volunteer senior.
The goal of the information sessions is to spark discussion with thought-provoking video clips. These tools help draw a picture of what mistreatment, fraud, and bullying look like, and provide tips for preventing them.
